process photo. this piece kind of collapsed under its own weight. im really mad. I haven’t figured out what to do with it yet. Some of the really fine parts couldn’t hold the weight of the curve, so I sort of have this crumpled mess in my studio. I didn’t intend for this piece to hang, so it is currently hanging from three points to try and reduce any additional unwanted cracking or creation of weak points. I’m VERY frustrated.

I first learned to knit before I learned to crochet. I have not picked up knitting needles for about 11 years…. I have attempted to reteach myself. Boy was it hard, but it all came back after restarting 20 times. LOL Which do you prefer knitting or crocheting?
These wonderful hats have a great textured quality. You can pick up to two colors. Please specify if you would like one stripe as shown or alternating stripes. (the other hats shown are made with multi-color yarn, this is a possibility, but is more limited in choices) Also the hats have an optional pom pom on top, which is not pictured.

First throw I’ve ever finished; took me quite a while since I did not understand how to connect the corners and in the end I became frustrated and simply stitched them together. :S In the end though, I’m pretty satisfied with it and other than that one issue it was a really fun project.
